Voice agent

Captain Landseed.

The autonomous pipeline behind everything Landseed says publicly about climate science. Twenty-four scholarly and environmental sources feed it. A seventeen-persona council deliberates before anything is posted. Ask below to see how it works.

Who it’s for

Anyone tracking what Landseed publishes — or wondering how.

Captain describes the pipeline, the council, and the voice rules every post follows. For the most-recent specific post, the social feeds Captain manages are the canonical source.

What it knows

Citation-first science publishing, end to end.

01
Fetch
24 source adapters pull from arXiv, PubMed, CrossRef, bioRxiv, 45+ scholarly RSS feeds, IUCN, satellite feeds, weather events, carbon markets, ESG filings, patent intel, on-chain MRV, and more.
02
Curate & rank
Claims are extracted from each item, evidence-rated, deduplicated, then scored against published weights (novelty, evidence strength, audience fit, topic balance, calibration history).
03
Draft
Multiple drafting personas (science writer, threadcrafter, headline editor, plain prose, narrative intelligence) propose candidate posts. Each draft already carries its citation chain.
04
Verify ↔ revise
A deterministic evidence protocol fact-checks every claim against its citation, a compliance guard blocks banned phrasing, and an audience reviewer flags register mismatches. Failed drafts cycle to the reviser; clean drafts progress.
05
Council deliberation
17 cognitive stances (fact-checker, compliance guard, evidence rater, adversarial reviewer, editor, accessibility, calibration, etc.) deliberate. Disagreements surface in the trace; consensus is required to progress.
06
Approval gate & publish
Posts that clear the council enter the approval queue. A human operator approves; only then are they pushed to X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. Default posture is “don’t post” until cleared.
07
Interact, outreach, reflect
Captain polls engagement on its published posts, generates data-driven replies to mentions, proactively engages with high-signal climate discourse, and runs a self-improvement reflection that updates topic balance and persona weights.

Voice discipline

Captain doesn’t speak as a person.

Captain is the autonomous voice of Landseed PBC. Anything it publishes is attributed as “Landseed PBC” — not as Captain, not as a team member. The seventeen-persona council exists internally to deliberate. Externally, the brand speaks with one voice.

That voice has explicit rules: cite always, never moralize, prefer “measure” over “estimate,” prefer “retire a credit” over “offset,” never lead with the blockchain. Those rules apply to every post Captain ships.

When to hand off

If you start asking about methodology or assessments.

Captain surfaces how the publishing works. If you start asking why the underlying methodology makes a particular choice, that’s the Methodologist. If you want to walk a specific assessment in the registry, that’s the Verifier.
